In a year when Pinot thrived (2009) I was uninspired by Cattail's efforts, but this 2010 takes on a whole new dimension in the evolution of Cattail's Pinots. This one has what you expect: earthy notes with good cran-cherry fruit. There's a chalky finish, but the fruit acts as a counter-balance and makes this a very tasty and accessible Pinot Noir.
