Limited production usually comes at a much steeper price – this 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc from the ’08 vintage saw 18 months in French oak and production was only 70 cases; but still Lou Puglisi has decided on a price that is more than affordable for everyday drinkers – and drinking this everyday wouldn’t be out of the question. Nice fruit mix of red and black berries, smoky/toasty notes with coffee and toffee, there’s even a hint of mocha to bring it all together – this wine drinks beautifully now and should continue over the next 2-4 years.
