The Rogue White is Pinot Noir that spent no time in contact with its skins, hence keeping it white instead of turning it red; the result is a wine that, if tasted blindfolded, you probably would have trouble identifying it as a white wine by just taste alone. Smells are smoky, earthy and burnt apple; while the palate is earthy with honeysuckle nuances but without the sweetness, giving it a more chardonnay-esque mouth feel. Not your average every day white wine, in fact it is something so out of the ordinary it’s hard to believe. Price: $35.00 – Rating: ****
