This small production (1300 bottles) Merlot is one of the last of its kind … winter 2013 killed much of the Merlot in David’s Block so soon this wine will be a collector’s item. Aromas are of the smoky-blueberry and cassis ilk, while the palate spices up those blueberries, adds cassis and black cherry all wrapped in layers of tannin and smoke.
