Still one of the best Chardonnays on the market for the price … for those who like the ballsy 2012 version because of all the heat soaked fruit will still find much to like in this cooler ’13 edition, in fact the coolness might have helped to enhance it. Nose of apple, peach and spiced vanilla leads to a palate that has a backbone of balancing acidity holding up spice, apple puree, peach pit and spiced pear all coming across as creamy before that acidity swings in to clean the palate up … and pay attention to the long yum of a finish.
