Not your typically bland unoaked Chardonnay, this one shows some interesting character from its 3 months on lees and 50% malolactic fermentation. Aromas show off pineapple, peach and hints of lime; while the palate is pleasant and playful with peach and apple touched by a vanilla creaminess (from the lees) but also with matching acidity on the finish to keep things in balance … this one drinks like a lightly oaked Chardonnay.
