I tried this just after bottling but prior to VQA approval … which meant I couldn’t take any home … drat! A blend of Chardonnay (60%), Riesling (30%) Pinot Gris and Melon de Bourgogne (5% each) – this percentage is based on the wine produced at the winery in 2014, and are co-fermented and fully lees-ed together. In this 3^rd vintage of Calcaire Norm is finally hitting his stride with this mineral citrus driven blend: lemon drop, hints of lime and peach leading to the long citrus-mineral finish.  Price: $23.00 – Rating: ****+
