Norm’s County Chardonnays are the more delicate, mineral driven Chardonnays in his portfolio, while their counterparts made from Niagara fruit can be a little fleshier. This cooler vintage version spent 10-months in 100% French oak barrels and delivers butterscotch, vanilla and apple on the nose – the palate is where the minerality shows up along with peach and apple sauce, but all very soft and supple leading to a finish of vanilla, apple and creamy caramel.
