Stanners is back with another incarnation of their hugely popular and well-made Pinot Gris; I believe it to be the signature wine of this winery and others are in agreement as it sells out very quickly. Aromas are orange peel and cantaloupe rind, while the palate has tangerine/citrus and a slight spice for good measure. It even has a slight orange-pink hue – some call it copper (cuivre) - from the 24 hours of skin contact.  Price: $25.00 – Rating: ****
