It starts off with those welcoming (though typical) aromas of butter and vanilla, but then the white fruit component takes over: pear, apple and peach with a touch of salted caramel on the finish and a simple dash of white pepper ... nicely balanced with that sweet fruit, acidity and Chardonnay typicity.  Price: $45.95 – Rating: ****+
