A very small production, best vintage Bordeaux-style blend consisting of Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (12%) and Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec (4% each) aged 19 months in French oak and bottled un-fined and unfiltered – which means its best years are still ahead of it. Here we have a soft and supple red wine (mainly due to the Merlot) that expresses the fruit incredibly well: a mix of both red cherry and black cherry with cassis and wood smoke along with a good tannin backbone.
