In a province where Chardonnays seem to be a dime a dozen do we really need another; especially from this exceptional red producing winery? When one is this tasty the answer should be, why not? Twelve months in French oak, 50% new and made as part of a limited production of only 6 barrels. Nose lures with vanilla and butter along with hints of caramel and spice following on the palate while adding apple and white fruit with a little rasp of lemon zest.
