A limited release (only 64 cases) of single vineyard (Stouck) Viognier – which is a rarity in Niagara all on its own. This is a real beauty offering up tropical aromas and flavours a la pineapple, mango, guava and melon. The wine was both barrel fermented then aged for 6 months resulting in a spiced-up finish amongst all that delicious fruit, plus there’s beautiful acidity and minerality to round it off … after tasting this you’ll be hoping, like I did, that Malivoire can replicate this wine every year (an in greater quantity). Price: $26.95 – Rating: ****+
