Unlike other “select” wines this Syrah is not subjected to drying, instead it is whole cluster pressed fresh fruit and allowed to naturally ferment and age in 1000L barrels for 9 months – the result is a wine with depth of flavor and cool Syrah notes: meaty, smoky and leathery; there’s even some white pepper, cherry and bacon fat on the finish, now that’s cool.
