This is one of these “orange wines” you have heard talk about: this 100% Sauvignon Blanc spent 33 days on skins, whole cluster and wild fermented, then spends 10 months in barrel … making an odd yet interesting enough wine with touches of spice, earth and yeasty notes – there’s even some grapefruit pith and a touch of tannins. It’s not a wine for everyone, but it is worth a taste. Price: $30.00 – Rating: ***+
