While Baco continues to be a nemesis of mine (there are just so many bad ones out there), Henry of Pelham continues to show the way, proving that they are the closest of anybody to perfecting this grape – and the “Old Vines” has been consistently good wine ever since its inception. Sweet and juicy dark fruit along with vanilla and red licorice … But it’s those sweet fruit notes that really lure and hold your attention. I really want to hate this Henry of Pelham offering, but it’s so hard to do. Price: $19.95 – Rating: ****
