This usually good-value well-made Chardonnay hits the right notes once again in 2019. Plenty of apple and gentle spice that leans slightly int the realm of caramel and butterscotch on the mid-palate ... The oak is a little more present with a smoky character at this moment, but should tone itself down with time. Nice balance of sweet oak, fruit and spice.
