Keith Tyres has really brought a lovely element of “cleanliness” to the Pinot Noirs from Closson Chase - and that really is a good thing – no more dirty sweat socks and earthy flower bed (ie: “merd”) instead it’s sour cherry, leather and beautiful acidity that brings this wine right up to a level that you'd expect - on the back end there's black currant, floral, smoky and a lovely tannic balance ... And that sour cherry just repeats beginning to end. Price: $35.00 – Rating: ****
