Not sure what comes to your mind when I say 13th Street Winery but for me it’s Gamay and Sparkling … but when you have a French winemaker from Chablis at the helm Chardonnay should also pop into your head. Nose on this wine has hints of pear, citrus and mac apple … palate doles out spiced apple and lemon pith along with touches of smoked vanilla and some butteryness … dominating the finish is a lovely spice that continues to give back.
