In a 2012 sweetie I expected good sweetness due to the very ripe fruit, but it's the acidity here that gets me, it's well-balanced and adds depth and layers to a wine that is full of honeyed apricot and pear notes, what that acidity does is keep that sweetness in check delivering a well balanced yet delicate dessert wine.
