I tried this wine less than two weeks after bottling, the nose was slightly closed but the palate was incredibly expressive – and if the aromas end up matching the palate this’ll be one killer rosé. The flavours are a berry bowl of cherry, raspberry and cranberry with a sweet-ish core before the acidity kicks in with citrus notes on the backend leaving everything dry, delicious and refreshing. At 13% this is no shrinking violet of a rosé, it’s more like a rose in full bloom. Price: $14.95 – Rating: ****
