Here’s a value Pinot which is 25% Red Paw vineyard and 75% Niagara-on-the-Lake purchased fruit … and this year it’s an even better value bottle than in previous years. Nose has that Pinot-esque earthiness and sour cherry mixing with black cherry richness and violets. Taste keeps that rich black cherry and cranberry, but it’s the rich fruitiness that stands out adding acidity to keep it fresh on the palate … a real surprise at this price point, and pleasantly so.
