This is one of three red Nouveaus I know about that came out during the 2013 Nouveau-season and the second I have reviewed. This one shows some interesting complexity (for a Nouveau) on the palate: aromas are cherry, red currant and POM juice; palate continues with all those but replaces the cherry with black raspberry, especially on the finish, along with tart acidity … for a potential bubblegum wine this one comes across much drier than expected.
