Riverview is making a name for themselves with this grape and they continue their string of good Gewurtraminer with this 2012 edition, labelled as “Angelina’s Reserve” – I can only assume named for their winemaker, Angela Kasimos. This reserve is made from their oldest vines (planted in 1992) very typical aromas and flavours are abound here: floral and perfumed notes lead to tangerine followed by hints of white pepper and an attractive spiciness.
