Believe it or not this is Inniskillin’s very first foray into adding bubbles to their hugely popular Cabernet Franc Icewine – and it truly is a masterstroke. Pure strawberry with nice acidity that cuts right through the sweetness, and there’s also a long luxurious finish. We were asked to use another word besides “sweet’ to describe icewine … so I’ll say that this wine is dry-impaired, but that is the only impairment I can find as it is wonderfully delicious and such a special occasion wine – pick the right time and enjoy, slowly.
