It's a grape winemaker Derek Barnett has been playing around with for I don't know how long - but he sure does enjoy creating an annual wine from this stalwart of Austrian winemaking. Those who dig red wines on the lighter side will like this red fruit dominated number that adds blackberry and cassis to the mix. Also look for a little white pepper and nice acidity on the finish.
