I'll excuse Mastronardi for using the Pinot Grigio moniker on this bottle of what is definitely Pinot Gris in style ... after all they're Italian. The nose is spiced apple, with lanolin and a hint of beeswax; flavours follow in this vein adding hints of floral and honeyed notes without being sweet - their also a nice hit of acidity on the finish.
