The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that usually find their way into the Peller Signature wines were declassified into this Private Reserve due to the vintage - that means that a higher quality grape is in the bottle (even declassified these grapes are of top-notch quality). A 45% Merlot with 35% Franc and only 20% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 12 months in both French and American oaks.
