According to sources, the 'Dam 1' on the label will change from year to year as this wine is released ... thus this is the first one they made. It's a hodge-podge of grape varieties starting with Chardonnay making up the bulk (77%) followed by Chardonnay Musque, Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. The wine has a nice sweetness at its core with outside edges delivering on the Chardonnay aspect - the rest is a little bi-polar, not knowing what grape to highlight. Price: $13.95 - Rating: *** 1/2
