During a recent tasting of Canadian sparkling wine I ran across this surprisingly delicious wine from Magnotta. You don't usually see Vidal in sparkling, other than an icewine version, but this little guy was a pleasant surprise: slightly sweet, easy drinking with apricot, green apple, and melon with a lovely clean finish and balanced acidity. This is not a complex wine, but it would be perfect for adding a light sparkle and a little sweetness to you orange juice in the morning - or on its own. And for the price, you really can't go wrong.
