The word I would use to describe this Gamay is ‘killer’: killer fruit, killer vibrancy, and killer price … for under 13-bucks you get a Gamay that will turn heads and get people talking about this grape, and maybe even have them talking about EastDell again. I tasted this wine with a touch of a chill and it brought out the vibrant cherry aspect of this wine, I also found hints of raspberry and vanilla mid-palate leading to a finish where spice and acidity fight it out … but what really stood out above it all was the bright cherry fruit, it was there from beginning to end.
