Legitimately, they could easily have called this Grigio – it has all the ear-markings of a great Grigio, but Huff has elected to stick with what North American Pinot Gris is, no matter what the style. The nose is full of lemon and grapefruit rind … the palate is knock your head back with acidity – citrus pith and pulp take center stage with hints of a mineral tang … it’s pure citrus and perfect hot weather patio wine. One of the best Gris’ I have had from an Ontario producer. Price: $20.00 – Rating: ****+
