By George they've done it again ... there used to be a commercial on TV that said Quaker was gonna make a "hot cereal lover out of you" ... well I do believe that Closson Chase could do the same thing for Pinot Noir, especially this 2010 KJ Watson version. There's a real fruit / spice dichotomy going on here and it's exceptionally enjoyable ... it all finishes with vanilla and cinnamon laced sour cherries. It seems to start off sweet in the mouth but finishes with great acidity and lingering spice - not a wine you'll soon forget, mostly because the long-lingering finish won't let you.
