I’m told this is the Chardonnay with the most potential, but heck it’s good right now. The nose delivers spicy apple, spiced peach and lime cordial to the olfactories, while the palate tries (and succeeds) to pull off a balancing act of tightness, weightiness and acidity. It’s a lime-apple blend that mixes spices with a caramel apple finish … voted most likely to succeed in the long run. Price: $44.95 – Rating: ****+
