We have a friend who just loves Chardonnay, to the point where if a glass is poured anywhere in a room she is in, she must stop and partake (conversations have been known to stop). I am reminded of her while sipping on this show-stopper. Aromas of spiced-pear and baked apple waft through along with vanilla and mineral all on a sweet cinnamon underlay. Palate follows the nose pretty closely indulging the tongue with peach and pear puree, spiced apple and a rich expression of sweet fruit before the long finish that holds the balancing acidity.
