As interesting as Karlo's Petit Verdot venture was, the Merlot is just as interesting but not typical. Aromas of blueberry, earth and pitted prunes accost the nose in a "you've gotta try me" kinda way. Flavors are black- and blue- berries, mocha and some vanilla soaked figs.
