Henry of Pelham 2011 Sauvignon Blanc
There are those who drink Sauvignon Blanc all year long, but on a hot summer day there is no better remedy than a beauty of a Sauv Blanc. This might be one of those to keep on hand, especially for the price. A nose of melon and orange zest with a hint of grapefruit. The palate shows some grassiness, grapefruit pulp, lemon seed and a hint of something tropical with nice bite from the acidity on the finish ... and a long one at that. Price: $14.95 - Rating: *** 1/2+
