This value priced LCBO brand (made by Peller) is raspberry dominant, especially on the nose, but the palate sees its share as well and adds a little blueberry for good measure. This is a very juicy and quaffable Merlot that doesn’t offer much by way of complexity, but I don’t think it’s supposed to … just lots of fruit with enough acid to keep it from being syrupy.
