There is nothing not to like about the wines in the Alvar line from Pelee Island … they have a great price point and the fruit is usually full on frontal. This Cab is a perfect example; it’s all red fruit and chocolate: cherry, raspberry, strawberry with vanilla sweetness backing it up. Deliciously gulpable and ultimately quaffable.
