If there's one winery in the Lake Erie North Shore that should have cult-like following I'd be willing to toss my hat into the ring for Muscedere. Brothers Rob and Fabio seem to like making small batch wines with cult like price and appeal ... and each has a stand up and take notice quality. Not all of their wines work, but when they do they are something special. One of those is the '08 Cabernet Franc which is just loaded with complexity on both the nose and palate. Aromas seen simple with smoky, vanilla and raspberry; but their flavours got it going on with roasted raspberry, smoked cherry, cinnamon and well-integrated tannins. Very sippable and enjoyable.
