Not as powerful as the 2010 version of the Featherstone Franc but there is a delicacy here that shows the more feminine side of Franc; but there’s still plenty to get excited about here. Think raspberry, strawberry and cherry all done up in a smoker, plus there’s a nice juicy finish. Price is perfect for this wine, which is still the kind of bargain that Featherstone is known for, especially with their Franc. Price: $16.95 – Rating: ****
