The nose is delightfully oaky with some fun aromas: toasted coconut, burnt butter and just a splash of vanilla. This just might be the first wine you’ve tried made and aged entirely in Hungarian oak. The flavours follow from the nose and leave behind nice acid bite that cleans the palate and readies it for yet another tasty sip. There’s also a long toasty finish here … very limited edition wine with only 11 cases of this first vintage made. Price: $45.00 – Rating: ****
