My notes on this wine seem very simple, but keep in mind that the Le Clos whites (Chardonnay) are meant to age, sometimes longer than the reds, because they're more robust and heavy. What I tasted today (October 14, 2008) will be very different in years to come, because this wine will evolve and open itself more fully. The nose is buttery with a citrus splashed apple quality. The palate has a rich mouth feel with muted fruit flavours, a bit spicy, with a buttery and seemingly bubbly finish the bites at the tongue with plenty of acidity. Price: $65.00
