It's nice to see Gewurztraminer getting some respect in Niagara, it's a grape we do very well with and when made well it's full of great summertime enjoyment - it also makes for a great spicy dish accompaniment. This Gewurzt has a touch of ginger on the nose along with the usual Gewurzt-essence of floral, lychee and spice. The palate gives you the spicy floral notes with good acid and spice on the finish, and although this wine is considered a 'one' no the sugar code it so doesn't taste it, you'll think it quite dry with pleasant fruitiness.
