This is one of the most interesting Vidal wines I have ever tried. Many of us know Vidal as the icewine grape and even as a table wine it has a little residual sweetness. This one has a nose reminiscent of apple and banana chips, while the palate is way drier than expected - instead of juicy pineapple at its core you'll find the more sour flavour of pineapple core and the skin ... there's also a nice seam of acidity which would make this very food friendly.
