I have to be completely honest with you here ... this wine holds a special place in my heart - not necessarily this vintage, but the wine itself and I have a special bond that can't be broken - it is the wine I got engaged to - thereby you might consider my word about its "goodness" might be tainted. So if you won't take my word for it how about the judge s of the Ontario Wine Awards, where this wine took a silver medal? Lovely strawberry-raspberry and toasty yeast notes on the nose are followed up by fresh strawberries in the mouth finishing with a slight citrus-raspberry flavour. Good length and nice mouthfeel; a good wine to get engaged to all over again, if I do say so myself. Price: $28.95 - Rating: ****+
