This is the follow up bubble to the awesome 2007 Rosé Sparkling - this time it's a 70/30 blend of Pinto Noir to Chardonnay and this one shows a little more delicacy in its make up when compared to its predecessor, even though it spent more time in bottle on lees (2 years vs 16 months). The nose hints at yeasty strawberry and raspberry, dialling up the fruit and back on the yeast. Palate continues with the delicate theme going all fruit within the bubble: strawberry-raspberry and rhubarb. This one is plenty playful and delicious without the power of the previous version.
