Chateau des Charmes 2004 Paul Bosc Chardonnay
Forget for a moment about the weight of this bottle - well I guess that’s easier said than done, this kind of bottle can be used as a weapon after the wine inside has been consumed; but could it very well be that the weight of the bottle is a precursor for the weight of the wine inside. A nose that’s rich in vanilla, and butterscotch ripple ... and though I'd love for those flavors to appear in my mouth it's more of the fruits and spices flavours that shows up. Apples, tree fruit, peach pit and vanilla along with something spicy. This weighty wine could very well stack up to something weighty in the food department too. What’s more, I thought it a bargain at that price.
