Rosehall Run 2008 Cuvee County Pinot Noir
The Cuvee County line of Rosehall Run allows winemaker/owner Dan Sullivan the opportunity to source fruit from all over the County and blend to make the best wine possible. Sure it takes the aspect of single vineyard - terroir - out of the equation, but it allows him to make a good wine from county fruit. This is another excellent example of how this practice pays off. Light in colour, the nose proves to have the same attributes: light with sour cherry and hints of spice. The mouth shows off red berries along with red and sour cherry punched up with good acidity on the lovely sour cherry-iced tea lingering finish. Price: $19.95 - Rating: ****
