A very passable Chardonnay that took much longer to make than I’ll take to describe it. The wine went through 50% malolactic fermentation and aged 100% in new French oak … a fairly small lot of just 6 barrels. All said and done the wine has a weighted mouthfeel with touches of barrel spice along with peach and apple crisp on the long finish. Price: $32.00 – Rating: *** ½
